Stanley Sweetheart No. 3C plane (12-012-012) - $75 SOLD

This corrugated No. 3 is a little beauty. It shows the signs of its years, but in a graceful manner. The casting has some scratches, and the sole has some pitting towards the rear, but nothing that hurts its usefulness. No chips or cracks in the cast iron or wood. Some minor scratches on the tote and knob, but they are in very good condition overall.

There is about 1 3/4" of blade left, and you will want to lap the back and sharpen the bevel. I did grind it more or less square just to make sure there were no problems. You can see the shaving it took in the last picture.

Great looking Sweetheart plane that will make a wonderful user.
